I own a volt and could not agree more. The volt is the most advanced vehicle on the road right now, bar none. And it is 100% American. It costs less to operate by a factor of two than anything else on the road. This is how America can win, and should be, it is a shame that people are trying to score cheap political points by attacking one the best new things people here have created and made.

LaCrosse and Regal with eAssist light electrification debuts mid-year and already journalists are describing the technology as “seamless” and calling Buick a new “go-to” brand for savvy young customers.
This seems like a pretty good use of technology, and with 4-5 dollar a gallon gas, they should move a lot of these.
Everyone knows that Toyota will add a plug in model, details on range and cost aren't clear and they been pretty mum in the publicity department , perhaps due to recall issues, perhaps to focus on the larger MPV prius offering. But don't count them out this fall when the plugin Prius is finally unveiled and priced.
